If you have the Fortnite Battle Pass then you are given a series of challenges per week and with Season 8 this trend continues. Each week Epic Games will deliver a new set of challenges for players to complete in order to gain some XP and level up. These challenges are usually pretty straightforward, but we’ll, of course, provide some details to help you progress through these tasks with a bit more ease.

Free Challenges
#1 Deal Damage With Scoped Weapons To Opponents x200
As always there is a weapon based challenge. You’ll need to acquire a scoped weapon, it doesn’t matter which, and deal 200 damage.
#2 Search Chests At Paradise Palms Or Shifty Shafts x7
Again this is an easier challenge to complete. All you need to do is open seven chests in either Paradise Palms or Shifty Shafts.
#3 Complete A Lap Of The Race Track In Happy Hamlet x1
You likely already checked out the race track that was added within Happy Hamlet. This week there is a challenge where you need to complete a single lap. All you need to do is get into a Baller and then head to the starting line. Wait for the countdown and then go through the race track by following the rings. Once you get through the finish line you’ll complete the challenge.
Battlepass Challenges
#1 Get 15 Bounces In A Single Throw With The Bouncy Ball Toy x1
First you need the Bouncy Ball which is unlocked at Tier 26. From there you just need to throw it and attempt to get a total of fifteen bounces. The best way to do is this is in an area that has several walls or structures to allow the ball bounce off it.
#2 Gain Shields From Mushrooms x50
This is a three part stage challenge where you need to gather either potions or mushrooms.
- Stage #1: Gain Shields From Mushrooms x50
- Stage #2: Gain Shields From Small Shield Potions x100
- Stage #3: Gain Shields From Shield Potions x100
#3 Use A Volcano Vent, A Zipline, And A Vehicle In The Same Match x3
For this challenge, you need to use a volcano vent, a zipline and a vehicle within the same match. There is no preference as to what order or vehicle type.
#4 Eliminate Opponents At Pirate Camps x3
In this challenge, you need to eliminate at least three players in a pirate camp. It doesn’t have to be at a specific pirate camp, just head to a pirate camp and take out the opponents.
