Fortnite: How To Complete Season 8 Week 3 Challenges | Walkthrough Guide

March 14, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

How to complete all the weekly challenges.

If you have the Fortnite Battle Pass then you are given a series of challenges per week and with Season 8 this trend continues. Each week Epic Games will deliver a new set of challenges for players to complete in order to gain some XP and level up. These challenges are usually pretty straightforward, but we’ll, of course, provide some details to help you progress through these tasks with a bit more ease.

Fortnite Season 8 Challenges:

  • Week 1 Challenges
  • Week 2 Challenges

Week 3 Challenges

Free Challenges

#1 Stages

This challenge will come in three stages where you must complete an object.

  • Stage #1: Destroy Cacti Within The Desert x30
  • Stage #2: Search ammo box in snow biome
  • Stage #3: Search chests in jungle

#2 Place Traps

You must place at least two trap slot items in a match. It doesn’t matter what trap slot as any of them will work for this challenge. However, the two traps must be different from each other.

#3 Visit Two Different Named Locations

This is a five stage challenge and it will require players to visit two specific locations within a match.

  • Stage #1: Fatal Fields & Salty Springs
  • Stage #2: Haunted Hills & Tilted Towers
  • Stage #3: Frosty Flights & Loot Lkaee
  • Stage #4: Lucky Landing & Retail Row
  • Stage #5:  Snobby Shores & Tomato Temple

Battle Pass Challenges

#1 Headshot Damage

This one will require a bit of skill but you need to get 500 damage through headshots. Some may find it easier to stick with a sniper rifle and carefully take shots at players. Others however may find that using a shotgun and getting close to a player to get a headshot will quickly do the trick. Really, this just depends on your play style.

#2 Visit The Magnifying Glass Loading Screen Area

In the loading screen after you reach Tier 10 you’ll see a magnifying glass laying on a map. You need to visit that area which is the ice sculptures within Polar Peak.

#3 Search Chests

You need to search a total of seven chests and they can be chests from either Sunny Steps or Fatal Fields locations.

#4 Eliminations

This doesn’t need to happen in a single match, but you will need to get an elimination with an SMG, pistol and a sniper rifle. Unfortunately, this weeks challenges will cover the map quite a bit so there really won’t be a big crowd of players in any one particular area. Luckily, because this challenge doesn’t need to be completed  in a single match, this should be relatively easy to accomplish during normal gameplay.
