Zelda: Breath of the Wild – How To Solve All Shrines | Lake Walkthrough

On WiiU & Switch: Crush all the shrines in the Lake Tower region, just southeast from the Great Plateau, with this list of step-by-step solution guides.

Ya Naga Shrine – Shatter the Heavens

The first shrine is located on the island on Lake Hylia. Paraglide from the Bridge of Hylia to land on the rocky area and find the shrine tucked below the water level.

This tricky puzzle requires two rune abilities: the round remote bomb, the square remote bomb. Start by placing the square remote bomb on top of the large block on the track — then roll a round bomb into the funnel.

Activate Stasis on the large block, then detonate the round bomb. It helps to roll a second bomb and detonate before Stasis wears off — but this might not be required. Once Stasis is released, the accumulated energy will launch the stone block upward.

When the stone block reaches the top of the trak, detonate the square remote bomb to destroy the weak blocks on the ceiling.

Now that the path to the top is clear, repeat the same steps — only place Link on the stone block. Ride up to the top and Link will be launched into the upper chamber.

  • Optional Chest: When standing on the block, turn right before launching Link. In the upper room, use the boost to glide to this chest on a high pedestal.

Once you’re in the upper chamber, the altar is available to complete the shrine.
