#30 Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is the tenth installment in the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise. This time around, the game is set in Bolivia, where the rising power of drug cartels has become a concern to the United States Government.

To deal with this concern, the Government has sent in an elite special operations unit called “the Ghosts” to destroy the cartels in question. Unlike previous installments within the franchise, players will be set in an open world environment to explore along with more freedom in how they accomplish their goals.

While maneuvering around the world will be in a standard third-person perspective, players can also switch to a first-person view.

#29 Rainbow Six Siege

Made as the successor to the previously announced and now canceled Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Patriots, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege makes our list. Much like the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six franchise is known for, this is a tactical shooter with more of an active community of players online.

Essentially, one team of terrorists will be seeking out a hostage while the Rainbow team must carefully breach a building and take down the terrorist group. Being a tactical shooter, there’s a bit more to the gameplay then running in and spraying bullets in each room.

Instead of turning a home into an active war zone, there’s slew of gadgets and weaponry made to make kills effective and accurate. There may be times of a standstill while you prepare for a take down or breach, but if you have a team of friends ready and voiced online, this game could make for endless fun.

#28 Dying Light

Dying Light was created under Techland, who was also the developers behind Dead Island and as such, there are some clear similarities between the two. However, between the two video game titles, Dying Light certainly carries a more mature tone and bleak world.

The video game follows an agent named Kyle Crane who is tasked with infiltrating a quarantine zone city of Harran which has become infested with a virus turning civilians into ruthless zombies. Interestingly enough, there’s a twist on the day and night cycle in Dying Light. During the day, the zombies are more lethargic and easier to deal with, though once the sun set’s they become more aggressive and harder to escape.

Developers have also tossed in some parkour elements within the game allowing players to easily traverse the city and its obstacles when fleeing the undead hordes. Combat as well has been changed from the melee focus from what we seen within Dead Island to gunplay, giving players an action-adventure experience.

#27 Killing Floor 2

Tripwire Interactive recently launched Killing Floor 2 into the market and it’s a massively fun FPS to enjoy with some friends though the game can be played as a singleplayer experience. Within Killing Floor 2, players will be forced into fighting off waves off creatures known as Zeds.

If you’re familiar with the older Zombies game mode from the Call of Duty franchise, Killing Floor 2 is pretty similar. Players will have to gather weapons to use against the enemies along with the end boss.

#26 Far Cry New Dawn

Note: Spoilers for Far Cry 5

If you enjoyed Far Cry 5 then you know that the ending leaves you hanging. At the end of the game, you find that the world is on the brink of collapsing due to the end of the world and you find yourself stuck with the antagonist where the game ends following credits. Now if you’re hoping to find out what happens after the credits roll and what has happened to Hope County after the nuclear blast then you’ll get the opportunity in Far Cry New Dawn. This title takes place seventeen years after the events of Far Cry 5 where you will find returning characters from Far Cry 5 and the result of the protagonist and antagonist of Far Cry 5.

With Hope County mangled and distorted by the nuclear blast, players will find new landmasses to explore. Survivors have started to rebuild the world but a new threat of bandits has prevented Hope County from truly being free from tyranny control. Players will be stepping up to free up outposts and preventing from the new bandit group controlled by twin sisters from destroying Hope County and the innocent citizens who dwell within it.
