Capcom Releasing Balance Update For Street Fighter V Season 2

March 15, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

Several weaker characters will soon be buffed.

With any fighting video game released into the market, developers often look at how to further balance characters so all gamers have an even playing ground. Street Fighter V Season 2 is no exception as the development team behind the video game, Capcom, has released a patch details update that will soon be released to the video game.

Overall, the patch update is focused on balancing various characters within the game while also cleaning up a few bugs that have been discovered. What some gamers may find interesting is that the new patch will not tweak the stronger characters being used within the game.

Instead, the development team has opted to further increase the weaker characters so they stand a fighting chance. These character upgrades are tweaked in a variety of ways. Some may find that they will have an increase of vitality while others will see new move sets.

All in all, the characters being adjusted include Alex, Akuma, Balrog, Birdie, Cammy, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, F.A.N.G, Guile, Ibuki, Juri, Ken, Laura, Nash, Necalli, Rashid, Ryu, Urien, Vega, and Zangief.

As mentioned, each character will be tweaked on their own and Capcom offered a very well detailed list as to what is happening for each and every character listed above. We suggest checking out the list in full right here.

While the patch update doesn’t launch until April of this year, gamers can still enjoy the game on the PC and PlayStation 4 platforms. It’s also stated that Linux will soon be receiving the game at some point in the near future.
