Platinum Games took the center stage during Microsoft’s E3 press conference in order to debut gameplay footage or their upcoming Microsoft exclusive video game, Scalebound. Don’t get too excited as there are plenty of questions left unanswered for the video game, but this gameplay footage will suffice until more details are revealed.
The gameplay footage showed off some co-op of Scalebound where players hacked a massive crab-like monster. Players take the role of a human that is bonded with a dragon in a fantasy world, though background and story information for Scalebound is still relatively unknown.
Scalebound will not be releasing until next year which gives the development team time to reveal even more information about the game throughout the rest of this year. While we don’t have the exact release date quite yet, we do know that Scalebound will be part of Microsoft’s Play Anywhere program that will allow gamers to purchase the game once in order to have a copy of both the Xbox One and Windows 10.
