Kamehameha in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Impressing Fans

June 24, 2024 by Carley Garcia

Fans only have to wait a little longer for the perfect DB game.

Ahead of the release of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO this fall, fans are already calling it the definitive Dragon Ball game. With a ridiculously huge cast of characters to choose from and a dedicated custom battle mode, the fighting title will be a force to be reckoned with when it drops this October. Now, one Reddit user has discovered a bonus for Goku fans.

User hitomikuroishi posted to the Tenkaichi 4 subreddit to show off Goku’s ‘Angry Kamehameha’ in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, which many fans are calling the “most faithful” move seen in the game footage so far.

Goku’s hair even changes from its standard blue hue to orange as he continues to power up, making the animation all the more impressive.

“This game is so beautiful that it offends me that I can’t play it right now. I’m going to drop so many hours playing this,” one user said.

Last week, a new screenshot pulled from the game showed off the ability for players to use Emotes and Taunts, a mechanic that began in the class Budokai Tenkaichi games for the PS2.

During Summer Game Fest, fans got their first look at the game’s Custom Battle mode, which allows players to recreate their favorite battles from the Dragon Ball universe and share them with other players around the world.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be released on October 11, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Players pre-ordering the game will have access to the following characters without needing to unlock them in the game: Gogeta, Gogeta, Super Saiyan, Gogeta Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, Broly, Broly, Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Broly, Full Power.
