Remedy have revealed the PC settings for Quantum Break.

Remedy revealed in a blog post that they decided to share PC settings after fan request. Of course, they confirmed that it supports resolutions up to 4K, and they also upsold the player’s ability to choose to have the game running as well as gamers like on their high-end rigs.

  • Graphics Preset
  • Resolution
  • Fullscreen Mode
  • Lock to 30 FPS
  • Brightness
  • HUD Visibility
  • Subtitles
  • Volumetric Lighting
  • Shadow Resolution
  • Shadow Filtering
  • Texture Resolution
  • Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
  • Screen Space Reflections
  • Effects Quality
  • Global Illumination Quality
  • Anti-Aliasing

Looking back at the game’s system requirements, it’s clear that Quantum Break is a graphics intensive game, and you will want to run it on a console that at least matches, if not exceeds, the power of the Xbox One. You can also rest assured on the quality of the PC port since Remedy themselves are also developing it. Regarding the 30 FPS lock, even if your computer can do more, you may prefer to put the lock on. Remedy originally developed the game for Xbox One, and subsequently targeted that 30 FPS benchmark.

Quantum Break will be releasing on April 5, on both Xbox One and Windows 10. The game hit gold last February, after extended delays leading to the eventual announcement of the Windows 10 port. You can also learn more about the crossplay options between Xbox One and Windows 10. The game is also cross-buy on the two platforms, and Microsoft is on record as saying that they may make Xbox – PC cross-buy the standard in the future.
