Quantum Break Resolution and Framerate Revealed

August 26, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

We now know what resolution and framerate the game will run at.

Fans worried about the rumors that Quantum Break will be set to run at a measly 720p can rest easy as a new presentation hosted by the game's developers Remedy Entertainment included a document detailing how the game would run at 1080p.

Remedy made its presentation at SIGGRAPH 2015, where they talked about the rendering technologies being used in the game.

In the presentation, they also noted that the game would run at a stable 30fps.

As noted in the following image, screen-space lighting in the game will be rendered at 720p, but the game itself will display at 1080p.

You can read the full PDF presentation here.

Quantum Break is exclusive to the Xbox One and will release on April 5, 2016.
