At the beginning of February, IGN revealed the first hands-on preview of the action role-playing first-person shooter Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, with 20 minutes of footage dropped by Creative Director Matt Cox shortly after. Heavily inspired by the Dungeon & Dragons tabletop RPG, players will find that the mentally unstable and endlessly adorable Tiny Tina has taken on the role of dungeon master in this full spin-off of the long-running Gearbox franchise.
The game will add magic and dual-wielding abilities to the Borderlands universe, and allow players to choose from six ridiculous-sounding classes: Stabbomancer, Brr-Zerker, Spellshot, Clawbringer, Graveborn, and Spore Warden. Wonderlands will support crossplay at release, with a campaign that features multiplayer. Team up with three other players either online or by old-fashioned split-screen goodness.
But do you have to play with friends? Can you partake in Tina’s madness on your own?

DoesTiny Tina’s Wonderlands Have a Single-player Mode?
If you’re not feeling social, no worries–Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands can be enjoyed as a single-player experience. Previous entries in the Borderlands series were the same way, allowing for extensive multiplayer possibilities, but also perfect for some solo adventuring.
The game will see players assuming the role of The Fatemaker, the only one who can defeat the ultimate evil and restore peace to the realm. Wonderlands will have the same procedurally generated loot that players have come to expect from a Borderlands game, as well as an endless possibility of armor, weapon, and skill combinations to try out. The devs have bragged that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be ‘endlessly replayable,’ so even diving in solo, you’re sure to have your hands full of badass content for some time.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S this Friday, March 25. The game is a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store, but might be coming to other storefronts later this year.
