I know there was already a new Fatal Frame V trailer that went up last week, but with the Japanese launch fast approaching, the media train is going off the rails. This latest trailer doesn't feature gameplay elements like the previous one did, but it does give you a better feel for the atmosphere.
The focus here is on Ren Hojo, an author who has gone into the mountains in order to conduct research for his next story. At some point, he enters what appears to be a rustic inn or a dilapidated home, only to be greeted by a very ghastly looking old woman. Without English subtitles, I can only guess at their conversation. Maybe she's asking if would like a mint on his bedroom pillow.
Fatal Frame V for Wii U comes out in Japan on September 27. No Western release date has been announced yet.
