Breath of the Wild – How To Solve All Shrines | Lanayru Walkthrough

March 9, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

On WiiU & Switch: See how to beat every single shrine in the Lanayru Tower Region. We’ve got locations, solutions, and optional chests.

Table of Contents – Lanayru Shrines

  • Ne’ez Yohma Shrine
  • Rucco Maag Shrine
  • Kaya Wan Shrine
  • Daka Tuss Shrine
  • Dagah Keek Shrine
  • Shai Yota Shrine
  • Kah Mael Shrine
  • Soh Kofi Shrine

Sheh Rata Shrine – Speed of Light

Find this shrine on a lonely island northwest of Mercay Island. The island itself is covered in spiky brambles, so the only way to reach it is by paraglider. Climb to the top of Crenel Peak and paraglide to the island to drop down directly onto the shrine.

  • Optional Chest: Directly to your right after stepping off the entrance teleporter.

To get this trial started, push the giant turnstyle near the entrance until the laser on the revolving pillar hits the orange switch. When the switch is activated, the room will flood with water.

Push the turnstyle again to get the revolving platform moving — quickly swim across the water to the altar gate. If you’re quick, you can get across the water before the laser activates the switch again, lowering the water level.

You’ll need to reach the altar gate before the water level lowers. Once you’re there, wait for the water to drain, then place the metal barrel on the large orange button to open the altar door.

  • Optional Chest: Accessed inside the altar chamber. You’ll need to raise the water and use Cryonis to reach this chest — set a remote bomb on the switch and detonate it when you’re inside the altar chamber. You can reach the switch (and set a bomb) when the water level is raised. Just create Cryonis platforms to jump across. Don’t forget you can always scale your ice pillars.
