Breath of the Wild – How To Solve All Shrines | Lanayru Walkthrough

March 9, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

On WiiU & Switch: See how to beat every single shrine in the Lanayru Tower Region. We’ve got locations, solutions, and optional chests.

Table of Contents – Lanayru Shrines

  • Ne’ez Yohma Shrine
  • Kaya Wan Shrine
  • Sheh Rata Shrine
  • Daka Tuss Shrine
  • Dagah Keek Shrine
  • Shai Yota Shrine
  • Kah Mael Shrine
  • Soh Kofi Shrine

Rucco Maag Shrine – Five Flames

Find this shrine north of Samasa Plain on the banks of the Rutala River. It’s surrounded in spikes. Navigate the spike maze, or paraglide into the area from one of the nearby bluffs.

To solve this puzzle, you’ll need to shoot the pointer-switches with arrows, which in turn revolves the large block. Each face of the block has a brazier that can be lit, an empty space, or a fountain of water. Your goal is to light five braziers, all at once.

Even if you didn’t bring many arrows, you can recollect them off the floor. Arrows bounce off of the switches.

Lit braziers can be extinguished if you move the fountain over them, or if you move the block so the torch is dunked under water.

Each of the switches is fitted with a pointer. Use the pointers to make your decisions — otherwise there’s no real trick to this one. Just keep turning and avoiding water until five braziers are lit.

  • Optional Chests: There are two optional chests on wooden platforms high in the back walls of the shrine. Shoot the wooden platforms with fire arrows, or shoot regular arrows through the torches — that’ll break those flimsy wooden boards.
