Destiny 2 being a Live Service title provides content on the regular. Besides the yearly Expansions, like Lightfall, there are also weekly updates. These updates bring with them new challenges, new puzzles, and enough content to tide you over until the next week – continuing the cycle of running, gunning action.
One of the more interesting tasks that get added each week is the new batch of collectable Action Figures. Two are added every Tuesday, and they require a little bit of hunting and problem-solving to track them down. Not only that, but Week 2 also sees a Seasonal Challenge dedicated to these things, so if you want to get some juicy Season Pass EXP, tracking them down is a must.

Why Collect Action Figures?
Well, besides just collecting them for something to do, these Action Figures reward large amounts of Reputation with Nimbus. Each Action Figure is worth a whopping 150 Reputation, which is more than most tasks. Not only that, there is a Triumph for collecting them all, and certain Weekly Challenges require them.
In short, you want to do these. They are also quite fun to boot.
Action Figure #1 – Zephyr Concourse
The first Action Figure, and arguably the most difficult, is the one found in Zephyr Concourse. Simply head to Strider’s Gate, exit via the western exit, and make your way left once you enter the main area. You will come across a Bar, and this is the crux of this Action Figure.
To get the Action Figure, you must start a small event where you must defend the bar from Cabal Patrons. This is easier said than done, not because the challenge itself is difficult, but because it’s incredibly finicky. You want to make sure you have a decent LMG or Bow (Vergas Curve or Le Monaque are excellent here) to quickly take these guys out.
They will come one at a time, and they spawn in a specific order. Memorise the order, kill the Cabal, and you are good to go. Do be aware that Snipers spawn on the nearby rooftops from time to time – kill these before the challenge.
Once done, the Action Figure will spawn near the tablet that started the minigame. One down, one to go.
Action Figure #2 – Maya’s Retreat
This last Action Figure is very simple in theory, but also incredibly frustrating in practice. Maya’s Retreat is an area of Destiny 2 that is covered in unclear pathways and instant death platforms and zones. It’s not a fun place to navigate, and this Action Figure requires a lot of navigating a badly designed zone.
Now all that negativity is out of the way, let’s bite the bullet and get to work.
Getting to Maya’s Retreat is pretty simple. Fast Travel to Liming Harbour and head east by crossing a very small bridge and entering some glittery caverns. Follow these caverns until you get to a large canyon. To your right, you will see a large bridge.
Instead of heading to the bridge, hop onto the elevated rocks nearby and look left. Jump across and navigate this wall and ledge combo until you get to a small cavern. Here you will find a large brazier. Approach it and light it. There are three in total.
From this Brazier, look across the canyon. You will spot another set of caves. This jump is incredibly difficult to make without Grapple, so make sure you have the equipped or you are going to fall to your death more often than not. Swing across and inside these caves, and you will find your second Brazier.
The third and final Brazier requires you to get to the bridge we ignored earlier. Walk across it and you will find a third cave nestled in the cliffside. Jump into it and kill the Vex. At the back of the cave, you will find your final Brazier. Light it, and the Action Figure will spawn right in front of you. Pick it up, and you are done for this week.
Where To Place Action Figures
Once you have your Action Figures, you will want to drop them off. Head back to Striders Gate and run up to Nimbus. Look down and to your right and you will see a gold building with a gold door. Jump down to it, enter the door, and here is where you place your Action Figures. Simple.
