Elden Ring: How To Unlock Regenerating Health Right Away

February 23, 2022 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Elden Bling.

Sick of dying to poison in Elden Ring? Want to give yourself a passive health boost every moment you’re exploring the vast cursed lands of Elden Ring? You can do that and do it very easily (and early) with the Blessed Dew Talisman. Getting it is simple — you just need to breach the final area of the game right from the start. Easy, right?

It is actually much easier than it sounds. The special Talisman is located in Leyndell, The Royal Capitol, one of the last areas you’ll be able to breach. But there’s a hidden way to get there early. Much earlier. Literally, you can get there right at the start of the game after leaving the starting area. A quick trek south and you’ll be ready to start healing infinitely.

The Blessed Dew Talisman actually heals at a pretty fast rate. If you’re poisoned, the ring will 100% negate damage by healing you just as fast as you’re taking damage. Not a bad find for a starting player. Sometimes that little bit of health makes all the difference in a hectic boss fight.

How To Find The Blessed Dew Talisman | Regenerating Health Trinket Location

To begin your quest for the Blessed Dew Talisman, you’ll need to locate the Weeping Peninsula. This is the large island to the south of your starting area — the island is populated with a large fortress called Castle Morne, and you’ll also find a Walking Mausoleum. You’ll need to enter the west side of the region, then travel to the southern edge. Your goal is a tower called the Tower of Return.

The Tower of Return is a small, wrecked tower guarded by a few soldiers. There’s a ballista mounted at the top. Clear out the soldiers and use a ladder to climb to the top. Open the chest and you’ll instantly portal to Leyndell, The Royal Capitol. Or a small section of it.

  • Blessed Dew Talisman Location: Leyndell, The Royal Capitol – After using the Tower of Return hidden portal, you’ll appear in the city. Find the Divine Bridge checkpoint and activate it. Then enter the courtyard where a golem is resting on its back.
  • In the courtyard, sprint to the right steps and open the chest. The Blessed Dew Talisman is inside. This talisman, when equipped, regenerates health.

You can’t fully explore the capitol just yet. Everywhere else is blocked. There’s a hole that’s far too deep to drop down and an inactive portal. The golem here is much, much harder than the golems patrolling the Stormhill area near the start. You don’t need to fight it. You just need to survive long enough to open the chest and claim your reward.
