Get The Golden Toaster In The Toaster Repair Academy [Wasteland 3]
The Toaster Repair Academy is one of the weirdest sub-quests in any game, and the Wasteland series obsessions with toasters reaches its zenith. In Wasteland 3, your Toaster Repair skill comes in handy — certain Toasters in the Colorado Wasteland contain gold toaster parts. Find all the parts, and you can put together the Golden Toaster in a secret Toaster Repair Academy location.
And the Golden Toaster isn’t any normal toaster. It’s a talking companion — kind of like Skippy from Cyberpunk 2077, only more of a jerk and even less useful. Placing the Golden Toaster on a pedestal in the Toaster Repair Academy, a new area that unlocks once you finish the toaster, creates an AI-controlled companion called Courageous. You can’t take direct control, but he’ll still hang out with your party. Toast, anyone?
Alien In Disguise [Mafia: Definitive Edition]
Mafia: Definitive Edition is a faithful recreation of the classic original for modern sensibilities — including new shooting mechanics and smoother driving. It mostly doesn’t add anything new aside from updated graphics, music, and everything related to the presentation. It does one a few things to the bonus exploration mode, though.
In both the original and Definitive Edition, you can play Free Ride mode, which allows you to explore the city. It’s basically completely empty, except for some brand new quests you can activate that are exclusive to the remake. One insanely hard quest forces you to chase a UFO around the city — but you reward is the awesomely weird alien costume. As in, it literally replaces your character with an alien in a suit.
