Freedom Planet 2

Freedom Planet was really a work of passion from development studio Galaxy Trail. Originally starting out as Sonic the Hedgehog fan game the title was reworked to become its own IP. With its success, the development studio had decided to bring out a sequel, Freedom Planet 2 which will follow two years after the events of the first title. This time around our protagonists, Lilac, Carol and Milla along with the once rival enemy Neera must fight off a new hostility. With the world in peril, players must defeat the new ancient enemy.

So far the game seems to only be releasing on the PC platform at the moment but it would be interesting to see if the development studio decided to also release it on consoles such as the Nintendo Switch.
