Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 5 – Week 8 Challenges Guide | Rifts & Treasure Locations [VIDEO]

Go hunting for toilets and rifts in Week 8 of Fortnite: Battle Royale – Season 5. The summer season marches forward, with another quick couple of challenges. If you’re lost and need someone to point you in the right direction, check out the video above, or scroll down for full maps of all the locations you should visit. The rifts are semi-random, but it’s actually possible to complete that challenge in the player-free sandbox mode.

So, what’s the deal with the “chairs” — those are toilets, and naturally you’ll find a big seat in the Flush Factory. If you’re familiar at all with the island map, that’s pretty easy to figure out. But, you’ll also need to hunt down a few rifts. Rifts are strange purple wormholes you can enter that send your character flying into the sky, where they’ll be able to parachute back down and cross plenty of distance. These rifts appear mostly around the new locations on the map, so go exploring outside Lazy Links, Tomato Temple, or that weird Viking Village that doesn’t even have a name yet.

Week 8 Challenges Guide | Rifts & Treasure Locations
  • Challenge: Search Between 3 Oversized Seats
    • Battle Star Location: Found on the hill north of Flush Factory, between the three trees at the top of the hill that are easily visible on the map. The hill is in the center of three small urban areas with giant toilets. Those are the “seats”!
      • Map Coordinates: F4 [Just on the hill as described above. Look between the three trees.]

To complete the collectibles challenge, you need to travel to enter rifts. There are plenty of rifts that spawn (semi) randomly all over the map. So check the following locations. We don’t need to list them here — they appear all over the place, and there’s no location you absolutely have to visit to unlock.

Here’s a quick bonus trick — you don’t have to play a competitive mode to complete the rift challenge. Weirdly, you can play the Sandbox / Creative mode, and still complete this rift challenge. There are lots of rifts, just run around to the locations listed below and you’ll eventually find all the rifts you need.
