We Happy Few: 18 Tips To Help You Escape Wellington Wells | Beginner’s Guide

August 12, 2018 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Explore the secrets of Wellington Wells with a few helpful beginner tips. Here are18 things you should probably know before hopping into We Happy Few.

#13: Hiding In Plain Sight

Arthur has one ability you might not realize — he can sit at any bench or chair and blend in with his environment. Arthur is so unassuming, you can even use this trick to hide in enemy bases or bandit zones. Just sit in place, and cop reinforcements won’t be able to find you, even if they’re staring right at you.

Along with his uncanny skill to hide where everyone is looking, you can also hide out in the open. While running around the city streets, look for pipes you can climb up in back-alleys. Jump onto the pipes and hide on the raised platforms to safely escape almost any situation.

#14: Need More Skills? Complete Side-Quests!

When you arrive in Eel Pie Holm, the second area of the game, you might think it isn’t too big — think again. This area is massive, and it is chock full of side-quests. The only way to earn skill points in We Happy Few is completing side-quests and main quests, and there is an abundance of side-quests to find, even very early in the game.

Travel into the far, unknowns northeast from the first Eel Pie Holm area to find tons of quests. Talk to everyone, and explore every strange structure. Usually, you’ll unlock the quest just for approaching. Complete all of them, and you’ll quickly earn a fat stack of skills. Very useful when you’re ready to re-enter the terrors of society.
