#30 Life is Strange

Developed by Dontnod Entertainment, Life is Strange is a fantastic interactive episodic series, that plays out similarly to Telltale Games releases. The narrative journey follows Max Caulfield who returns to Arcadia Bay in order to take part in a photography class. With Arcadia Bay being her old hometown, Max finds herself reconnecting with her past best friend, Chloe Price who was left in shambles after Max moved away. Max finds herself with a new power of rewinding time and with it, the duo seek out to solve a dark mystery that is surrounding the town along with a premonition of a massive destructive storm.

#29 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

Skyrim is the fifth game in Bethesda’s ever popular series of role-playing games. Like its predecessors, Skyrim takes place in an open environment which is full of exploration, wonder and a whole slew of quests. You can easily spend countless hours within this fantasy world and we’d honestly be surprised to find a gamer who has yet to experience this journey. If you have yet to do so, pick up The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and begin to weave your own tale.

#28 Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Following after the events of Shadow of Mordor, Middle-earth: Shadow of War will continue to showcase our main protagonist Talion as he forged a new Ring of Power. However, conflict may arise between Talion and his infused spirit of elf lord Celebrimbor when it comes to their end goals.

Outside of the narrative, most of the gameplay mechanics you’ve become acquainted with in the first installment will likely make a return as you take down orcs and travel across the lands completing quests.

#27 Darkest Dungeon

Darkest Dungeon is an RPG developed by an indie creator Red Hook Studios. The video game has players controlling a roster of heroes that will explore dungeons. As you explore the dungeon to see just what lays within, players will be forced to fight off a series of creatures while maintaining the different afflictions that may arise. For instance, players will have to manage the stress levels of a hero though you’ll have plenty of characters to use with the game offering a party recruitment of up to twenty-five heroes.

#26 Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is the latest installment within the Assassin’s Creed series. Players are taken to the end of the Ptolemaic period in Egypt as they witness the origins of the long driven conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order. Being an Assassin’s Creed game, you can expect a heavy emphasis on stealth with Origins being more opened world to explore during your game progression.
