The best video games released so far in 2018.

There are fantastic video game releases slated to launch throughout the year. We’re only halfway through 2018 and already we have tons of titles we’re itching to get our hands on. With that said, there are plenty of video game titles that have already launched to keep you busy until that next anticipated title hits store shelves.

For those of you who need a game to enjoy prior to an upcoming release then we recommend checking out our list below. We compiled fifteen of the greatest video game titles to have launched so far.

Included in this list are brand new IPs, reboots and of course, new installments to much-beloved franchises. But with that said, there are still a plethora of video game titles releasing towards this last half of the year.

#20 Deep Rock Galactic
  • Developer: Ghost Ship Games
  • Publisher: Coffee Stain Publishing
  • Platforms: PC, XBO
  • Release: February 28, 2018 (Early Access)

Seeking to create a thrilling co-op experience, Ghost Ship Games is developing a title known as Deep Rock Galactic. This is currently an Early Access title that can be purchased today, though you can expect some changes and bugs until the final release launches.

Within the game, players are tasked with working together in digging into the underground as they collect valuable resources through cave systems in this upcoming sci-fi mining game. As you gather precious resources, your crew of friends will have to unload heavy artillery to the hostile creatures below.

Caves are procedurally generated with enemies and loot to collect making it a new adventure every time you start. Currently, the game offers four-player cooperative gameplay with four unique classes to not only help fight against the enemy hostiles but to flesh out a team of miners.
