From what we know so far about the game, Remedy Entertainment is telling a story of a woman named Jesse Faden. Jesse was granted unexplained supernatural powers after a childhood traumatic experience and it’s her goal to finally get some questions answered about her past. Joining up with The Oldest House, a Federal Bureau headquarters that study supernatural phenomena, Jesse ends up dealing with more than she bargained for. A new otherworldly force has invaded The Oldest House leaving Jesse to fight back using any means necessary and perhaps at the end she’ll finally learn about her past.
Dirt Rally 2.0
- Developer: Codemasters
- Publisher: Codemasters
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: February 26, 2019
Dirt Rally is developers Codemasters overall revised installment to the Rally series. Essentially, Dirt Rally morphed from the Colin McRae Rally series which first came out in 1998. Within the game, players will race in a variety of off-road terrain tracks on tracks set all over the world. Likewise, select tracks may have various weather conditions that could alter the overall feel of the vehicle you’re racing with. There is a total of seventy different cars to choose from and over thirty stages.
Now since Dirt Rally has released, Codemasters has returned to give players a brand new experience with Dirt Rally 2.0. Just as before, players will be receiving a realistic physics racing experience but now with a new weather system. It seems that weather conditions will not only play a role in how the car handles on the track but your visibility of the road. Currently, the game will release with a total of fifty cars to choose from and eight circuits from the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
Civilization 6: Gathering Storm
- Developer: Firaxis Games
- Publisher: 2K Games
- Platforms: PC
- Release: February 14, 2019
If you already own a copy of Civilization VI then you may want to take note of the upcoming second expansion pack known as Gathering Storm. This expansion will be adding an assortment of features, leaders, wonders, and civilizations. A big focus with this expansion is all about weather elements being introduced to the game and as a result, players will have to deal with the various issues that will come up from it. For instance, players will soon have to plan for potential volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, blizzards, tornadoes, to even droughts. All of these will play a role in how the game will play out for the last eras. However, as mentioned, there are some other notable elements being added into the game such as a new overhaul to diplomacy along to a variety of small little tweaks to the already established mechanics.
For those who are after more leaders, you’ll find that Gathering Storm will include a total of nine new characters with eight brand new civilizations. These will also come with two new scenarios which will deal with The Black Death pandemic and the WWI German-French conflict in Belgium. Currently, this game is slated to release on February 14, 2019.

- Publisher: Microsoft Studios
- Platforms: PC
- Release: TBD
Age of Empires is finally back after over a decade wait since the release of Age of Empires 3. Unfortunately, not too many details were released by Relic Entertainment and from the footage so far shown to promote the game, it appears that we will see a wide variety of territories along with eras. It’s worth noting that alongside Age of Empires 4, both Age of Empires 2 and Age of Empires 3 are in development so it seems that gamers will definitely get their fill of the franchise hopefully within the year. Currently, the game doesn’t have a release date yet and with the slim amount of news released for the upcoming fourth installment, we expect that we’ll hear plenty more about the game before it actually hits the market.
