Within the game, players are tasked with working together in digging into the underground as they collect valuable resources while exploring cave systems. However, you’re not alone underground forcing our team of miners to come packed and loaded with heavy artillery to face against the hostile threats.

Caves are procedurally generated with enemies and loot to collect making it a new adventure every time you start. As mentioned the game is currently an Early Access title so it’s likely this game won’t have a full launch this year.

Ashen is an upcoming action RPG title that follows players into a world that is full of hostile enemies and gloom. Little information has been released about the game so far, but what we do know is that players can opt to work together in hopes for a greater chance of survival.

Within the world, players may cross paths and can then team up in a means to increase the skill set and crafting abilities. Strength in numbers seems to be key for survival in Ashen where the game has a variety of creatures and hostile environments that lurk around the corners of this decayed world.

The Darwin Project

  • Developer: Scavengers Studio
  • Publisher: Scavengers Studio
  • Platforms: PC, XBO
  • Release: March 9, 2018

The Darwin Project is another video game set to launch the popular and trending battle royale genre. Within the game, ten players will battle it out to see who will be the last man standing, though unlike some of the other popular battle royale games in the market today, there can be a variety of ways a player is killed.

While players can kill each other using weapons, there are other elements to worry about such as the weather and environments. Likewise, the developers behind this video game, Scavengers Studios, are hoping that viewers will play a big role in game matches.

Another player will play as a host, who will have the ability to trigger events and cause some extra surprises for gamers to go through. However, viewers who simply watch the match can vote on certain elements to unfold as well. We expect matches to go relatively quick with all these elements combined and best of all its made to be a free-to-play video game.

Forza Horizon 4

  • Developer: Playground Games
  • Publisher: Microsoft Studios
  • Platforms: XBO, PC
  • Release: October 2, 2018

The Forza series, in general, does fantastic in the market though that statement is especially true with their Horizon line. Forza Horizon 4 will still follow the same feel and tone as the past installments though it will be taking place in a fictionalized United Kingdom.

With over four hundred licensed cars, players can race among each other through the variety of intense high-speed tracks. Likewise, there are servers that will support up to seventy-two players making races filling and competitive.

Pit People

  • Developer: The Behemoth
  • Publisher: The Behemoth
  • Platforms: PC, XBO
  • Release: March 2, 2018

Developed by the creators of Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers comes Pit People. This is a wacky action role-play strategy game that is beyond chaotic and visually hilarious to watch unfold. Within the game, players will be controlling an army as they explore the lands, gather loot and fight against foes that come across their way.

Controls are a bit odd as characters fight on their own so you may have some cast of army healing rather than fighting but this does make the game a bit more enjoyable to watch the battles unfold. If you’re looking for a game to also face against friends or other online players then it’s worth noting that Pit People does feature both a co-op along with a 2v2 game mode.
