The Surge: How To Defeat Rogue Process | Boss Guide

May 25, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

Rogue Process boss breakdown.

You’ve finally reached the final boss in The Surge. Known as the Rogue Process, this is the last boss you’ll face against in the game and as such, you can expect a tough battle. If you’re in need of a hand when it comes to defeating the boss then take a look at our guide down below.

Part A

Similar to the other bosses in The Surge, Rogue Process is broken into parts. This first part players will have a few different aspects to take care of.

For starters, gamers will find that they are up against a mass of metal with different limbs that will shine with blue and white lights. These limbs are our center of attention right now so get to work destroying these limbs.

After the limbs are destroyed, the Rogue Process will become whole and will have a few different attacks to use against the players. While the limbs will be used to attack, the real danger here is the charged up attack that the Rogue Process will unleash.

Focus on the limbs and watch for when the Rogue Process becomes still. It’s at this point that the boss is charging up a powerful area attack. Don’t get greedy at this point so take a few hits to the limbs and run away.

Repeat this process until the Rogue Process becomes completely red. When the boss becomes completely red, you’ll want to head to the central control console and overcharge it.

Part B

This last part of the battle players will be up against a transformed Rogue Process. Instead of a mass of metal, the boss will become a more humanoid figure.

While Rogue Process is a bit quicker at this stage the battle is still relatively easy to handle. The trick at this point is to wait for his attacks and dodge them. Once you dodge the enemy you’ll want to rush in and get a few attacks in.

Simply repeat the process until you defeat the Rogue Process which will also mark as the game’s completion.
