Check out Middle-Earth: Shadow of War’ PC Requirements

February 28, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

Can your PC handle it?

Yesterday, WB Games announced that a sequel to the hit game from 2014, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be heading to platforms this Summer on August 22.

Well, if you are planning to get Shadow of War on the PC, you might want to check the PC requirements, which have been revealed via the games official Steam page. It is a little early for the reveal of PC requirements, however, it is a nice change of pace. It seems like the game isn’t too demanding of your Rig, check them out in full down below:

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 with Platform Update for Windows 7
  • CPU: Intel i5-2550K, 3.4 GHz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 670 or Radeon HD 7950
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • HDD: 60GB available space

Recommended Specs

  • OS: Windows 10 version 14393.102 or higher required
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 970 or GeForce GTX 1060 / Radeon R9 290X or Radeon RX 480
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • HDD: 60GB available space

Players who are extremely excited for the game might want to check out the awesome, but super expensive collector edition version of the game. Announced earlier today as a GameStop exclusive, the $300 Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Mithril Edition comes stacked with some awesome loot. Check it out here.

WB Games and Monilith will be showing more of the game on March 8. The gameplay reveal date was speculated by fans which title was going to get announced — the new Batman Arkham title or a sequel to Shadow of Mordor, it turns out to be the latter.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is set to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 22, 2017.
