Bully Online has officially gone live.

You can download the mod here. While this page comes with instructions, there’s some things you will want to know before you set about to installing it and playing online for the first time.
Some Changes In Bully Online’s Development
The first trailer for Bully Online released two months ago. While many fans were excited, there was a lot of warranted concern about its legality.
SWEGTA immediately shared a statement that addressed most of these issues. However, in a new video, he revealed that the legal concerns were troubling enough that some developers left the project.
They did find new developers to fill out the team, and as a result, there’s a lot that has already been added to Bully Online.
Bully Online Is More Than Bully Multiplayer
SWEGTA explained that players who get in will immediately be able to play 60 mini-games. But, this is more than just a hub for people to play mini-games at random.
As it turns out, the team created their own version of Bullworth, with a lot of beta and cut content added in. In a way, this is the Bully Online team’s attempt to make a definitive version of the open world.
By adding this content in, the team also pushed this idea of making a virtual world for Bully. So, if you start playing now, winning mini-games can net you cash that you can spend on items.
While there aren’t that many things now, SWEGTA recommends that players start saving up because they intend to add things later – including being able to buy houses.
Bully Online Is Bigger Than SWEGTA
SWEGTA also revealed a huge step that should theoretically ensure that Bully Online will always be available. The team made Bully Online open source.
But what does this mean? It means that other developers can pick up Bully Online’s source code and set up their own servers.
SWEGTA describes this as a measure so that their work can stay alive in case they are forced to take their work offline. But we would not be surprised if some GTA RP players took an interest in making their own Bully Online servers too.
If you are playing in the current Bully Online servers, you will need to be mindful of one thing. They won’t require an email or 2FA to make an account, just a username and password.
However, if you lose your password, they cannot retrieve it. So players will have to make sure they remember their password.
With all of this said, you can learn more about Bully Online from SWEGTA himself below.
