Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 fans rejoice! The developers behind the game are offering another small update to alert fans that they are working on it. However, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see just what exactly makes its way into the game next. Still, it’s reassuring that we know that content is currently being worked on. Here’s what we know so far, thanks to the fine folks at Sandfall Interactive.
Taking to X, Sandfall Interactive developers offered one minor little update as to what’s being explored. In particular, there is a large range of content being explored for fans of the game. Those include new accessibility features, expanded localisations, and, of course, brand-new content.
Unfortunately, the developers cannot share any timelines for the game at this time. They also couldn’t confirm which languages will be worked on for the game just yet. Still, they wanted to hop online and share that more work is being put into the game. We’ll just have to wait and see what makes the cut first.
We’ve heard this plenty of times in the past from the development team. However, due to the surprise reception for the game, it left the studio postponing their DLC plans. Instead, the team’s focus was to work through all the minor bugs and optimization issues that had arisen. With a massive audience of players, new bugs are being discovered for developers to clear out.
That has been the primary focus at Sandfall Interactive. Still, we can expect some DLC to hit the game eventually. But, just where the storyline will take players is anyone’s guess. There are endless possibilities, such as going further back in time and playing as another expedition setting off on their grand adventure.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to sit by and wait. Hopefully, we’ll hear something new about what the developers are cooking up. That said, if you have yet to play this surprise debut hit for the studio and easily a big contender for Game of the Year, then you’re missing out. Currently, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. We don’t have any announcements for the Nintendo Switch 2 yet, but a port could be coming our way at some point.
