It’s a great time to be a PlayStation 5 owner. There’s been an influx of Microsoft first-party games coming to the platform. With Microsoft embracing the thought process of providing games to where players are, we no longer see some titles locked behind the Xbox console or PC platform. One of the big games that players might be getting their hands on soon is Indiana Jones And The Great Circle.
This was one of the big games that surprised some fans. Initially, it was believed to be exclusively featured for the Xbox Series X/S console along with the PC platform. But Microsoft has since unveiled that the game will also be one of the big title releases to see an eventual launch on the PlayStation 5. What we didn’t know is just when exactly the game would make its appearance on the platform.
Now, according to Tom Warren from The Verge, Microsoft is targeting a release this April for the PlayStation 5 platform. That’s just a claim from a reporter, but Tom Warren has a strong track record. That would leave April with two very notable games from Microsoft going the multiplatform route.
If you didn’t catch the news yesterday, we learned that Forza Horizon 5 will also see a release on the PlayStation 5 in April. Specifically, players could get their hands on the game on April 25, 2025, if they pre-order the Premium Edition. Otherwise, the full release on PlayStation 5 would come shortly after, on April 29, 2025.
While Forza Horizon 5 is confirmed for April this year, we don’t have an official release date tied to Indiana Jones and The Great Circle on the PlayStation 5. Regardless, we’ll have to keep an eye out for whether the supposed targeted launch window actually comes to fruition. Meanwhile, for those of you interested in learning a little more about Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, we do have a Before You Buy coverage of the game. You can find that video embedded below. Likewise, the game recently had a big update which you can read more about right here.
