Battlefield Community Testing Program Leaks Online

February 3, 2025 by Dennis Patrick

Players are getting more say this time around.

Update:

Battlefield Labs was unveiled early. Check out the details right here.

Original Story…

Battlefield fans are eager for the next installment. There is plenty of hope that the next game will be a solid experience. After a few misfires from the development teams, we’re hopeful the next one will surpass expectations. One way that developers are aiming to do this is by ensuring that there is more than enough community feedback. Later today, we were alerted that a community test would be highlighted, but that highlight might have already been unveiled.

The official Battlefield X account alerted fans of when to tune in to get some insight into the community testing program for the upcoming Battlefield game. But on Reddit, someone came across an announcement that rolled out ahead of time. Logging online for some Battlefield 4, a player came across the Battlefield Labs post.

Battlefield Labs is a new community testing program that ties players directly to developers. As players play the game and test out the content, they can provide critical feedback to developers. Ultimately, by working closely with players, the development teams can make fine tweaks to ensure that this gameplay experience is something that fans actually want to play.

Of course, we’ve heard in the past that developers were aiming to bring in more testing than before with this upcoming installment. According to the Reddit post, community testing will only be available for those in Europe and North America. From there, it will roll out to more markets.

It’s also noted that spaces will be limited. So, while you can likely sign up, you might not get selected for this round of testing. Regardless, more details about how you can sign up for the community testing should come out later today if you’re interested. Unfortunately, that’s about all we have right now on the upcoming Battlefield game, but with the amount of testing rolling out soon, more details should finally make their way to the public before too long.
