Fortnite players are used to seeing new crossovers regularly in the game. But earlier this month, we saw rumors suggesting that the next crossover to get featured within the game would be Cyberpunk 2077. While they were just rumors, Epic has since come out and confirmed that we should see the iconic Johnny Silverhand and V will make their appearances within the game.
The confirmation came through the official Fortnite X account, where the developers showcased that two characters will be brought into the game soon. Coming straight from Night City will be Johnny Silverhand and the female version of V. Both are prominent characters in the game, so it’s nice to see they are coming to the game together.
We don’t know when the crossover will happen right now. The date might elude us for now, but at least we know they are confirmed to be in the works and will eventually drop into action. Now, we’ll have to wait and see what will come with the character additions.
It might seem strange to see Cyberpunk 2077 finally getting a crossover after years of being available, but the game just received an update. 2.2 was a surprise drop for Cyberpunk 2077 after fans believed the developers had since moved on to other projects. One of those projects is a sequel installment, which should see the team working on this game double in size next year.
Furthermore, we know CD Projekt Red is busy working on The Witcher 4, which was officially revealed during The Game Awards this month. That confirmed that Ciri would be featured as the main protagonist this time around rather than Geralt.
