Quite a few anticipated games are coming out in 2025. However, the biggest launch for next year, just as long as it isn’t delayed, is Grand Theft Auto VI. This is a title installment for the franchise fans have been waiting on for years. Finally, we know the game is coming in 2025, but will the Xbox Series S be capable of running this game? That question came up during a recent earnings call for Take-Two.
Take-Two’s latest earnings call, featuring its CEO, Strauss Zelnick, touched on Grand Theft Auto VI. Thanks to a report from Gamespot, we’re learning today that Strauss noted that their labels are great when it comes to supporting the platforms that consumers are on. As a result, he’s not worried about the Xbox Series S being a platform that won’t be able to run Grand Theft Auto VI.
The CEO said that they are selective about which platforms they support and make the tech work when they can. So, if you’re gaming on the Xbox Series S, it seems like you shouldn’t find anything to worry about when it comes to being able to enjoy this upcoming GTA installment. I’m sure that is quite a relief, but again, we’ll have to see how it performs across all the platforms it releases on.
We’re still waiting to see the next trailer for this highly anticipated installment. As it stands right now, we only have one trailer for the game, which came out last December. Perhaps we’ll see the next teaser or trailer for the game next month before 2025 arrives. However, for now, all we can do is wait for the development team to chip away at this production. In the meantime, you can view the trailer for the game in the video we have embedded below.
