Street Fighter 6 has had this DLC coming for a bit now when just a few weeks ago it was revealed showing us what the next new character fighter would be once it was made available. Capcom has officially fully revealed the character and confirmed that the DLC will be releasing on May 22, so just a little less than a month.
With this announcement being made, they also share a video that gives players some insight on what moves Akuma will have in the game and from the looks of it, he will have some new ones but also some old ones players will remember from older Street Fighter games. This also includes one of his signature moves which is Gou Hadoken according to GameRant.
Street Fighter 6 has been doing a lot of interesting things since its release in 2023. So far they have done a collaboration with Monster Hunter, which was something we didn’t really exact to see and it was quite interesting to say the least. We are hoping that we will see more collaborations in the future but so far that haven’t been any more announcements about them as of yet.
The release date for the new Street Fighter 6 DLC is coming May 22, so there isn’t much more time before we will finally get to use Akuma in the latest game and learn the best combos to use with them. Street Fighter 6 is avaliable on all platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
