Cyberpunk 2077 still has quite an active community of players, thanks to the release of Phantom Liberty. However, if you find that the game still has some issues that need to be ironed out, this latest patch should hopefully help with that. A new patch that the developers catered towards fixing most of the common issues fans have dealt with has just been released. We’re not sure if we’re looking at the last patch yet, but this should hopefully fix any of the bugs or optimization problems you might have encountered lately within the game.
Not long ago, it was announced that a new patch was coming to Cyberpunk 2077. This is for those on the most current generation platforms, and the PC as support ended with last-generation consoles. Leading up to the patch, it was unveiled that there were plans to bring out an update that fixed several issues proving to be common in the game. Today, Patch 2.11 is available, and the patch notes highlight a wide range of fixes that the development team at CD Projekt Red was able to implement. These include gameplay, quests, UI, visuals, vehicles, and more. You’ll also find fixes that directly relate to the Phantom Liberty expansion.
You can read through all the patch notes right here. It’s a lengthy list, and again, we’re hopeful that if there’s been a troublesome bug you’ve been dealing with, it’s at least cleared out in this latest update. Likewise, hopefully, you have multiple saved files. For example, there was a fix in the A Day In The Life quest, which resolves a bug causing Darrell Zhou to die when approaching the quest marker. But this fix is not retroactive, so you’ll have to load a save before speaking with Darrell before you can finish the quest.
Again, we don’t know if this is one of the last updates for the game. A support team was left on the game to continue monitoring issues players might be dealing with. However, you wouldn’t find any additional major content drops for the game. Instead, CD Projekt Red has been focusing on other projects going forward, like the next installment of the The Witcher franchise and a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
With that said, if you haven’t picked up Cyberpunk 2077’s latest and only expansion available, you can find a Before You Buy video coverage on the expansion below. You’ll be able to enjoy this expansion on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 platforms. Unfortunately, those on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are left without access.
