There is a lot of hype built around the next Call of Duty game. For a few weeks now, we had seen several leaks and reports suggesting that the next game would fall within the Modern Warfare series. That eventually was confirmed, and we also had since seen the reveal of when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III would land in the marketplace. But today, a new leak might have emerged online that stems back to the actual actor involved with the upcoming video game installment. I guess you can say this was a big mistake on this person’s part. But if you don’t want to get any spoilers potentially, it might be best to avoid reading on.
We know that the next game installment will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and with it comes some familiar faces. But thanks to Essentially Sports, who shared a tweet from user 3rbbcod, we had a look at an Instagram story by actor Elliot Knight. If you’re unfamiliar with the actor by name, this is the person who has portrayed Sergeant Kyle Garrick or otherwise known as Gaz. During the Instagram story, a fan commented, asking the actor not to let Gaz die. According to Elliot Knight that there will be two sad deaths and one good death.
We don’t get any additional insight than that. It might be an indicator that some fan-favorite characters will bite the dust in this game installment. However, we don’t have any names added to the mix. But that might be enough of a spoiler that two of our fan-favorite characters will die. Additionally, the main antagonist villain will likely be meeting their demise as well. Since we don’t have any names attached to this rumor, we can only speculate who these characters might be.
Regardless, we still have plenty of time before the game actually hits the marketplace. We know that this game will be landing in the marketplace on November 10, 2023. Additionally, we know that the title will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. In other recent news regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Activision recently commented on the fact you can expect a carry-forward feature for some of the content in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone.
