ORIGINAL STORY!

One of the biggest positives about a game like Dead By Daylight is that the gameplay can be put on an infinite loop due to its setup. One of the players is a killer, trying to use their special abilities to wipe out the other players on the map. The other four players are Survivors, trying to get out of the area in any way they can, even if it means abandoning the others so that they survive. The game has had a long life due to its ability to bring in new monsters and Survivors to keep things fresh and plentiful.

Heck, they recently brought in Nic Cage to unleash his epic acting style on the game! How does one top bringing in a man with such “massive talent”? Simple, you bring in a monster so feared and terrifying that just mentioning the movie it was in will send shivers down people’s spines: Alien.

Yep, it’s true! The Xenomorph is coming to Dead By Daylight, and we are all doomed as a result. The Xenomorph is easily one of the most feared entities in all of film. The first two movies of its franchise alone showcased why this being is so feared. First of all, it’s creepy as all get out. Second, it has a REALLY bad habit of showing up in places where it “shouldn’t be able to get to,” and the fact that it has two mouths really doesn’t help things.

Its battles with Ellen Ripley and others across its franchise have been the stuff of legends at times, so for this game to get it and bring the terror that way is going to be fun to see unfold.

As the teaser below highlights, not only is the Xenomorph coming, but we’ll be going to outer space via a ship or space station to be on “its turf.” That will put another new twist on the game as the map won’t be like anything players have seen before.

But the question that many people are wondering is whether we’ll get Ellen Ripley as a Survivor. It’s not guaranteed, but it’s also not impossible. Not the least of which is because her actress, Sigourney Weaver, is still alive and kicking and thus could provide Ellen’s voice once again. We’re not sure that one of her abilities will be using a mech suit, but that would be cool.
