5 Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass This Month

April 17, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s your last chance to try these games out.

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service has proven to be a great deal if you’re after a variety of video games. With this subscription service, players can access all of Microsoft’s first-party studio releases at launch. Best of all, these games won’t be going anywhere. That is unless there are licensing issues which is the reason we saw Quantum Break get booted off the service. Of course, if you’re just finding out that this game was removed, then you can confirm that Remedy Entertainment intends to bring Quantum Break back onto the service. With that said, first-party video games are not the only titles that are available on Xbox Game Pass.

While first-party video game titles are available at launch, a variety of third-party games are also released on the service. However, unlike first-party titles, these third-party games are typically removed from the subscription service after so long. Today we’re finding that five more games are being removed from the subscription service in the next two weeks, thanks to a report from Eurogamer. So if you haven’t given these games a chance yet, then you might want to at least try them out soon.

Xbox Game Pass Leaving Soon

  • Tetris Effect: Connected
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2
  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Unsouled
  • Bugsnax

That’s the next few games on the chopping block right now. While you might not have the time to fully finish these games if you want to try them out now, there’s still an incentive. If you want to enjoy these games, then there is a discount sale for titles leaving the subscription service. So, for instance, if this is your first chance to try out Dragon Quest Builders 2, you can purchase the game at a discount right now before the game exits the subscription service.

Of course, while these games are leaving the subscription service now, there are a few games that were recently unveiled to be coming into the subscription service this month. If you haven’t caught the new additions to the Xbox Game Pass service this month, you can check out the additions down below. All of the games, outside of one, are currently available.
