Mass Effect Andromeda: Commander Shepard has a Message for N7 Day

November 7, 2015 by Stephen Daly

The first human Spectre prepares you for your journey to another galaxy.

EA has released the official N7 Day 2015 video for BioWare's Mass Effect Andromeda.

In the video, which you can see below, Commander Shepard – the hero of the original trilogy – talks about humanity's continuous drive to find new things and explore the universe. Shepard also hands over the torch to her successor, saying that it's up to them to continue that ancient quest by exploring the Andromeda galaxy.

The footage moves from scenes of the Space Race of the 20th century to an image of the vessel which will complete the inter-galactic journey.

N7 Day is an annual celebration of the Mass Effect franchise, held on November 7th, with the N7 designation deriving from the military rank of Commander Shepard and Andromeda's protagonist. BioWare recently discussed why players will only have the option to play as a human in the game.

Mass Effect Andromeda launches in 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
