Those who have been waiting to hear more about ReCore, the Xbox One-exclusive from the man behind Mega Man and Dead Rising, Keiji Inafune, will have to wait a little longer as head of Xbox Phil Spencer says that fans can expect to hear more on the game sometime next year.
"You'll see a lot more of ReCore in 2016," Spencer said on Twitter in response to an inquiry into the game’s progress. "I watched team play last week, great progress."

ReCorewas announced at E3 2015 during Microsoft’s press briefing as an Xbox One-exclusive. In addition to Inafune’s development company Comcept, the game is being developed by Armature Studio, which is made up of ex-Metroid Prime developers, and Microsoft Studios. What we know about the game is that it stars a girl and her robotic companions. In the announcement trailer, her companion is a robotic dog, but as it meets its demise, the girl takes the robot’s remaining blue sphere and places it into a new robot, effectively transferring the robot’s consciousness from one robot to another.
Other Xbox One-exclusives slated for 2016 include Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, and Gears of War 4 from the recently-renamed The Coalition studio.
