Day of the Tentacle Has Been Remastered

October 23, 2015 by Olga Lexell

Get a preview of the classic game at IndieCade.

The remastered version of Day of the Tentacle will be available to play at IndieCade this weekend. For those who may not remember, Day of the Tentacle was the 1993 sequel to the 1987 graphic adventure game Maniac Mansion. Both games hold somewhat of a cult status and were developed by LucasArts for PC and Mac.

The premise is pretty simple: you and your friends have to stop an evil purple tentacle from taking over the world. This remastered version will likely be available for PS4, PS Vita, PC, and Mac.

With the shuttering of LucasArts as a developer, original development lead Tim Schafer has been working on the game under his own Double Fine Productions.

This year's IndieCade kicked off October 22 and goes until October 25. Passes are still available for purchase.
