Spotify Now Features The Silent Hill Soundtracks

June 17, 2020 by Dennis Patrick

Enjoy Dead by Daylight with some of Akira Yamaoka’s works.

Silent Hill fans can now start enjoying some of the music from their favorite franchise right on Spotify. It looks like Konami is allowing the soundtracks to be enjoyed by fans worldwide and it comes right in time for the Dead by Daylight crossover event. Now if you’re planning to enjoy some Dead by Daylight with the Silent Hill featured characters and setting, you can at least make the game feel a bit more like a new Silent Hill experience through these tunes in the background.

While this is not the Silent Hill announcement fans had hoped for, Konami has allowed the use of Silent Hill characters and settings to be used in the popular Dead by Daylight video game. If you’re not aware, Dead by Daylight features Pyramid Head, Cheryl Mason, and the Midwich Elementary School map within the game. It’s something that fans would likely enjoy as this is the latest we’ve seen from the Silent Hill franchise in a video game format.

There is a total of seven video game soundtracks from the Silent Hill franchise. Fans from mainly all the major video game titles can enjoy the entire soundtrack. Although we’ll list out which soundtracks are available down below.

  • Silent Hill 2
  • Silent Hill 3
  • Silent Hill 4: The Room
  • Silent Hill: Origins
  • Silent Hill: Homecoming
  • Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
  • Silent Hill: Downpour

In the meantime, fans are still holding out hope that a new Silent Hill title will be unveiled. There has been plenty of teases and rumors of a new Silent Hill project was in the works. One of the biggest rumors is that Silent Hill would receive a reboot for the PlayStation 5 and some of the key members from the original development ground, Team Silent, would be working on this project. While the game was supposedly set to be revealed during last weeks, PlayStation 5 video game lineup stream, we’re still waiting for the title to be confirmed as the event came and went without a mention of Silent Hill or Konami.
