Gears 5 is coming out shortly and if you’ve been following the game development process then you may know that a Versus Tech Test is coming out on July 19, 2019. If you’ve been eager to jump into the action earlier, here’s a new video to showcase just what you can expect with Arcade. Arcade is the new versus game mode where players can easily jump in or out at any given moment. Overall, this is a team deathmatch where two teams of five players will attempt to secure fifty kills, the first team to hit the goal amount will win the round.
There are a few changes to this team deathmatch. For instance, developers The Coalition has made it so that players have to pick from a series of hero characters to use in the match, all of which will have their specific attributes and weapons. However, there will only be a few characters to pick from when the Versus Tech Test launches on July 19, 2019.
The Versus Tech Test is a chance to enjoy three game modes on two different multiplayer maps before the video game launching. This is a means to run a few tests needed from The Coalition before the game is readily available for everyone on the market. The three-game modes are Arcade, Escalation, and King of the Hill. Likewise, you can even try out the new Bootcamp mode which is a series of tutorials on the different game mechanics for players to complete. While the Tech Test will start on July 19, 2019, Gears 5 will officially release on September 10, 2019, for the PC and Xbox One platforms.
