Since releasing the Dragonborn expansion for the PC and PlayStation 3 earlier this month, Bethesda has been diligently updating Skyrim for all three of its versions, with much of its focus on the PlayStation 3 version, which was curiously neglected for close to a year despite being available at launch with its Xbox 360 and PC counterparts.
However, the 1.8 title update that preceded the Dragonborn expansion, and the expansion itself, are only currently available to English-speaking countries. To that end, the studio intends to bridge the language gap by announcing its plans to release the 1.8 title update for Skyrim on the PS3 for the FIGS (French, Italian, German, Spanish) regions today.
The patch's release comes ahead of the Dragonborn expansion pack, which will be available in FIGS territories next week on the PlayStation 3, followed by the Hearthfire and Dawnguard expansion packs. So rest assured Europe, Bethesda hasn't forgotten about you.
Owners of the PC version of the game have been able to play the aforementioned expansions in all localized languages simultaneous to the release of the English versions as Bethesda doesn't have to deal with any arduous certification process on Steam.
