Xbox 360 players might be having a ball playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Revolution map pack already, but for those who are on the PS3 and PC, they still have no clue when the game's first downloadable content is scheduled to hit their platform.
Well, things are about to change, if these retailer listings are to be believed. GameStop U.S. has dated Treyarch's first expansion for Black Ops 2 to make its way on the PS3 on February 28. Additionally, Amazon's listing for Black Ops 2's PC Season Pass lists Revolution on March 1 and "will be available to download on March 1, 2013 at 12:00 AM (US/Pacific)."
While both are unofficial dates, it's not hard to believe that they're the real deal. Based on Activision's timed-exclusivity agreement with Microsoft, the Xbox 360 gets the DLCs first, with the other platforms getting it a month after.
For those not familiar with Revolution, it's the first map pack for Black Ops 2 and includes four new multiplayer maps, a new zombie map, the chance for a user to play as a zombie in the game's zombie mode, and the franchise's first-ever weapon DLC, the Peacekeeper.
Chances are the dates listed here are legit, but of course, we'll have to wait for Activision's official announcement to deem it official.
PC and PS3 Call of Duty fans, are you ready for Revolution or have you moved on to another multiplayer game?
Speaking of Black Ops 2 for the PS3, take a look at the list of issues the game still has on Sony's platform and see if you agree.
