Xbox 360 players might already be enjoying Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Revolution map pack as we speak, but what if they want to level up the DLC's Peacekeeper SMG quickly so they can join the ranks of the diamond camo club?
If that's your problem, Treyarch has you covered as the studio has updated their "Message of the Day" for Black Ops 2 Xbox 360 players and revealed they're holding a Double Weapon XP event starting this weekend.
Starting on Friday, Feb 1st (10 am/PST) and going through Monday, Feb 4th (10 am/PST) you will earn Double Weapon XP on all weapons. Double XP allows to level up and unlock attachments at twice the usual rate,
So for those tired of the usual double XP weekend events, maybe this will be more your speed. If only they made it so you can gain camos much, much faster, too. For now, this event is only for Xbox 360 players, but I assume that PC and PS3 players will also take part in it once Revolution gets released on their respective platforms. While Activision hasn't given a firm date yet, I think it's safe to assume that as is the case with all Call of Duty content, PS3 and PC users will be able to download Revolution a month after it hits Microsoft's platform.
Excited for Revolution but no Xbox 360? Maybe watching a few gameplay videos of some of the pack's maps will help with that. For zombie fans, we also posted the list for the Revolution's zombie Achievements, too. Just in case you didn't know, Revolution will allow you to play as a zombie for the very first time in the series.
Have you downloaded and played Revolution yet? What do you make out of the maps so far?
Thanks, MP1st
