Neuromods Detailed in Latest Prey Trailer, Showcases Multiple Power Skills

March 30, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

Learn about the Neuromod before the game launches this May!

Bethesda has released another new trailer for Prey today. This time around players will be learning about the game’s Neuromod feature.

The Neuromod is essentially the feature Arkane Studios have implemented for players to use to upgrade their character. As you can see from the trailer down below, it shows off multiple power skills the player can obtain. Set down fire mines, gain long object retrieval, and much more.

Check out the trailer in full down below:

Never mind the improvements to the Neural Modifier (or “Neuromod” for short) – including “smaller insertion points” on the rapid release needles that you literally jab into your eye. The real innovation is what this device can actually do: alter your neural circuitry in very potent ways. This isn’t just about enhancing your human abilities – like boosting you strength, speed, hacking skills and more – but also acquiring unique abilities that have been learned from the hostile Typhon aliens aboard Talos I.

Bethesda has been in full gear of promoting Prey as of late, as there as been a trailer for the past three days consecutively. Yesterday the trailer Playing With Power showed players some of the power players will possess. Some of the key developers of the game explain the powers players will be ale to use in the game. Check them out below:

The day before, Bethesda released another video for the game, however, that one was focused on Weapons and combos. The trailer titled Weapons and Power Combos gives players a good sense of how deep the combos can be, plus it gives fans a decent look at the guns at their disposal.

Prey will be available on May 5, 2017, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
