All The Boulder Forest Treasure Locations in Star Wars Outlaws
There are a total of 15 Treasures in Boulder Forest. The rewards found can be some of the many different collectibles such as Speeder Trophies, Trinkets, Nix Treasures, and Gear Items. Some other items that can be earned from these chests also include Key Items, Crafting Materials, sellable Valuables, and Credits. Here is the full breakdown of where to find all 15 Treasures Chests in Boulder Forest.
Runner’s Gate – Black Feeler Wrappings Nix Accessory
Start at the Jaunta’s Hope at the border between The Grazing Field and Bouder Forest. Take the northern path out of the settlement and go to the northwest. Go to the northwest of an Imperial Outpost where the road splits to find the wreckage of a ship. There is a locked door partially buried in the ground. Use the Nix pulse vision to see a wire coming out of the glow blue. Follow this wire to a nearby generator. Shoot the generator with an Ion Blaster Shot. This will open the door to the buried wreck and grant access to the Treasure inside. The chest contains the Black Feeler Wrappings Nix Accessory.
Haskà’s Circle – Dud II Trinket Vehicle Trinket
Go southwest of Runner’s Gate and go into a clearing with several scrapped ships and machines. Among these wreckages is a Treasure Chest that can be opened with the Data Spike. Inside the chest is the Dud II Trinket Vehicle Trinket, a cosmetic that can be hung from the handle of the Speeder of Trailblazer ship.
Imperial Comm Station #1 – Outlander Blaster Coating and Blaster Recirulator Material
The Imperial Comm Station is located at the furthest north point of Boulder Forest. There are 4 Treasures to discover in this base which The Empire heavily guards with a massive number of Stormtroopers and even AT-STs protecting the area. The first Treasure in the base is locked in the Comm Station’s Vault which requires the code to open. Once inside the base, go to the control tower in the northwest corner of the base and go to the ground floor. There is a shield blocking the elevator along with a few guards and a camera overlooking the area. Hack into the nearby terminal to disable the shield and use the elevator to reach the top of the base’s control tower. In the far left corner of the room, hack into the Terminal to disable Cameras and Turrets but also make sure to select the “Transfer Data” option to get the code for the Vault.
With the code acquired, the Vault can be opened. Go to the southwest corner of the base and look for the door facing the south with the Empire logo on it. Head inside to find this Treasure inside. Inside the chest is the Outlander Blaster Coating weapon skin and Blaster Recirulator Material used for upgrading the Blaster.
Imperial Comm Station #2 – Valuables, Materials, Credits
From the entrance of the Vault, go to the building directly to the north. There is a vent entrance against the wall facing the Vault and a door on the right side of that. Either way, enter into the building and go through the next door. Drop down to the floor below to find the Treasure Chest.
Imperial Comm Station #3 – Valuables, Materials, Credits
Go back to the Control Tower and in the right corner next to the elevator is where to find this Treasure Chest.
Imperial Comm Station #4 – Valuables, Materials, Credits
The last Treasure in the Imperial Comm Station is found near the entrance. Right at the front gate is an unmanned AT-ST. Right next to its foot is this Treasure Chest.
Crimson Dawn Hideout – Durafiber Fabric Expert Key Part
The path to this Treasure actually starts in The Lost Steppe region to the south of Boulder Forest. Near the west end of the river that runs along the bottom of Jaunta’s Hope is a small metal tower on the water overlooking the water. To the left of this tower is an orange rock that acts as a ramp. To make the jump across the river, the Speeder requires the Speed Boost ability unlocked by working with The Mechanic Expert. Check out Gameranx’s guide on how to get the Speed Boost ability.
Once across the gap, climb the nearby rock wall and go left to find a few Crimson Dawn members. At the wall at the north end of this area is a locked door that can be unlocked by using the Data Spike. Behind the door is a chest with the Durafiber Fabric Expert Key Part which is used to unlock the Scoundrel’s Pouch. This ability will increase the total number of Bacta Tank healing items and Grenades that can be carried at a time.
Smuggler Cache 37 – Valuables, Materials, Credits
There is a large mountain called Fallen Mound to the southwest of Imperial Comm Station. Go south of the mountain and stick along the western wall. Along this wall is Smuggler Cache 37 buried in the dirt. If you have found one of Jet Kondo’s Vault, the Holotracker will blink blue when close to the Smuggler Cache to make it easier to find.
Fallen Mound #1 – Overgrown Amber Stone Major Charm
From Smuggler Cache 37, go north toward Fallen Mound and look for the wind tunnel at the south end of the mountain. Use the Speed Boost ability to get through the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, use the grappling hook to reach the top of a cliff and enter the Fallen Mound. The path forward requires wall climbing and swing across gaps but the most dangerous thing to look out for is other wind tunnels. Wait for the wind to stop and use the brief opening to run past where the wind traveling through. At the end of this area, this is a heavy wind that won’t stop coming through the door of some destroyed ship. Along the northeast wall is a generator that when shot with an Ion Blast, will briefly shut the ship’s door. Use this time to run to the opening to the right of the door.
Once in the ship, shoot another generator with an Ion Blast along the north wall to shut another door and go to the platform on the west side of the room. There are two switches here that must be held down at the same time. Order Nix to pull one while you pull the other to open a door on the other side of the room. Shoot the generator one more time to get past the wind. The Treasure Chest with the Overgrown Amber Stone Major Charm inside is found right behind the door that was just opened. This Charm will provide players with a boost of Adrenaline after the loss of a significant amount of health.
Fallen Mound #2 – Smoke Bomb Compressor Expert Key Part
From the previous chest, just take the nearby elevator up to the next floor. This Treasure Chest is found right outside the elevator. Inside is the Smoke Bomb Compressor Expert Key Part which is needed to unlock the Smoke Bomb ability.
West Turbolaser – Ion Capacitor Charge Expert Key Part
Directly to the southwest of the Imperial Comm Station is a large Turbolaser tower that requires a Slicing Kit to hack into. Check out Gameranx’s guide on how to get the Slicing Kit from The Slicer Expert. Once inside the tower, drop down the open panel in the ground to find the Treasure with the Ion Capacitor Charge Expert Key Part inside. This item is needed to unlock the Concussive Smoke Grenade ability.
East Turbolaser – Valuables, Materials, Credits
Mirroring the West Turbolaser, there is an East Turbolaster to the right of the Imperial Comm Station. This tower is just like the western one since it has several Stormtroopers guarding it and requires the Slicing Kit to open. Unlike the previous Treasure, this chest is found on the ground floor and not underground. Just step inside the Easter Turbolaser to find the Treasure right next to the Imperial Terminal.
Imperial Outpost 44 – Valuables, Materials, Credits
Near the center of the Imperial Territory, which makes up most of the northern part of Boulder Forest, is Imperial Outpost 44. This post is directly to the east of Fallen Mound where two roads meet. Enter through the door on the east side of the tower to find the Treasure inside.
Imperial Outpost 62 – Valuables, Materials, Credits
Another Imperial Outpost, number 62, is found directly to the east of Outpost 44. Instead of being found inside the Outpost, this Treasure Chest is out on the metal walkway to the south of the tower.
Smuggler Cache 35 – Valuables, Materials, Credits
This Smuggler Cache 35 is found in the canyon below two cliffs along the northeast edge of the area. This is directly north of Imperial Outpost 62. Under the rock ramps at the top of the cliffs is the Smuggler Cache, buried in the dirt.
