Fortnite: All Week One Challenges | Season OG

November 3, 2023 by Lauren Sayles

Start strong in Fortnite Season OG.

Fortnite OG has arrived and this season will feel rather familiar to veteran players in more ways than one. For the short duration that Fortnite OG is live, each major update will transition players into a new phase of the game’s past, beginning with Chapter 1 Season 5. Fans both new and old will be able to relive some of the battle royale’s best moments, get their hands on nostalgic weapons, and land at classic points of interest. One aspect of Fortnite that remains unchanged is the roll out of weekly challenges and here’s everything you need to know about week one.

Every week, Epic Games release new challenges, giving all players the chance to level up and progress their battle pass. The amount of XP up for grabs usually depends on how complex the challenge is, or how long it’ll take you to complete it.

Fortnite Season OG week one challenges

Below, are all the challenges that are now live, as well as how much XP you’ll earn for completing each one:

  • Discover named locations (20) – 50,000 XP
  • Damage opponents with pistols or sniper rifles (500) – 25,000 XP
  • Travel distance while sprinting (1,500) – 25,000 XP
  • Search chests (10) – 25,000 XP
  • Gain shields (200) – 25,000 XP
  • Deal damage to opponents (3,000) – 50,000 XP

The challenges are relatively simple to complete and you may even be able to get many ticked off your list in a single match.

Completing weekly challenges is almost essential when you’re trying to make it to the end of your battle pass. Not only do you have less time to finish your battle pass in Season OG compared to previous seasons, but you need to work your way through weekly challenges in order to unlock customization options for Spectra Knight. The outfit is customizable in terms of color, the helmet, and banner.

Each customization option is tied to a specific set of weekly challenges. By completing week one challenges, you’ll earn the following for the Spectra Knight:

  • Royale Helm helmet
  • Banner Icon

That’s not all that is available in terms of challenges. Season-long milestone goals are also back, offering 2,000 XP for every individual quest completed and 30,000 XP for each milestone reach.

A new set of weekly challenges will go live on Friday, November 10.
