Like all good mobile games based on video game franchises, Monster Hunter Now rewarded players who pre-registered. Anyone who installed the app and entered a Hunter name before September 25, 2023, will receive the bonus. If you meet the requirements, you have until November 30, 2023, to collect your reward. Make sure you have the most current version of the app or you won’t be able to redeem your rewards.

How to Claim Pre-Registration Rewards

You can claim your rewards through the in-app Shop after reaching Hunter Rank 3. The Shop won’t be available to you until after that point. Once you have it, the Shop icon will appear in the lower right corner of the main screen. It should be listed under the Items section of the Shop. Tap on the Pre-Registration Rewards label and claim!

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to use some items right away. Paintballs cannot be used until you reach Hunter Rank 5 – fortunately, this is easy to reach since the story quests you need to complete aren’t item-gathering ones.

The Special Pre-Order Makeup is for your character customization. If you use any of the designs, they will appear on your character’s face. There are four different designs to choose from and all of the designs are based on different aspects of the game.

Save your Special Carving Knife for later. It may be tempting to immediately double your rewards, but you can’t buy this item in the Shop. The only other time the game gives you a Special Carving Knife is during the tutorial.

Finally, the Item Box Expansion, combined with the Special Carving Knife, is the best reward in the pre-registration bundle. Currently, you can purchase Item Box Expansions from the in-game Shop. You can purchase up to 10 Item Box Expansions that add 500 slots to your inventory, giving you a total of 5,000 extra slots. Additionally, you can purchase one large Item Box Expansion that gives you 5,000 more slots. Altogether, you can get up to 10,000 more slots in your inventory.

However, this costs real money. There is no option to purchase Item Box Expansions with the premium in-game currency, Gems. The 500 Item Box Expansion costs $1.99 each and the 5,000 Item Box Expansion costs $19.99. Not including tax, adding all 10,000 slots costs $39.89. In a surprising turn of events, you save $0.09 if you buy the 10 smaller expansions instead of the one big expansion.
