SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake – How To Find All Gold Doubloons | Jelly Glove World Guide

January 30, 2023 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Go for a doubloon-filled ride in Glove World.

The final stage of Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake is a creepy, goopy visit to your original goal in the game. Finally, Spongebob gets to go to Glove World. The amusement park has been twisted by the cosmic jelly. It’s also packed with activities. Instead of simple chase challenges like we’ve seen before, this level has unique mini-games you’ll need to complete — shooting targets, karate-kicking balloons, solving puzzles and riding rides. There’s a lot to do in Jelly Glove World and we’re going to help you find all the gold doubloons.

Gold Doubloons are optional collectibles that unlock costume tiers from the shop. By collecting hidden Gold Doubloons, you’ll make more costumes available for purchase in the shop menu. Gold Doubloons are hidden through side-quests, in the environment, or by completing challenges. Some challenges can’t be completed until after returning to a level. If a lock icon appears over an element on the stage, you’ll need to return later after unlocking more abilities for Spongebob.

Gold Doubloon #1: Glove World Entrance – Right at the start of the level, look to the right. There’s a Whack-A-Glove game you can activate by ground pounding the red button. Use Karate Kicks on the red balloons and don’t attack the white balloons. Break 25 before the time limit is up to earn this doubloon.

Gold Doubloon #2: Glove World Entrance – Near the end of the first room, there’s a sign with three symbols and a purple button. Stomp the button and you’ll have one minute to ring three gongs in the area. You need to ring the gongs in the order shown on the sign — paw, heart, star. The paw is on the spinning Merry-Go-Round, the heart is at the food court near that same ride. The star is to the left of the sign with these three symbols. Ring all three to spawn a doubloon.

Gold Doubloon #3: Glove World Entrance – Hop into the rollercoast cart on the tracks opposite the Merry-Go-Round. Once you board, hearts will appear — collect them all as you slowly circle the pond. Get all of them to earn a doubloon.

Gold Doubloon #4: Tunnel of Glove – At the entrance of the tunnel, jump on the boats coming from the exit side. Hop on the boats moving the opposite direction until you reach their source. To the left, you’ll find a gated area with a doubloon.

Gold Doubloon #5: Central Plaza – On the right side of the plaza, you’ll find a strength tester. Complete this simple QTE by mashing the button and you’ll win.

Gold Doubloon #6: Central Plaza – Left of the theater, you’ll find an old dock with a red button in the center. Stomp it to initiate a target practice mini-game. Throw bubbles at the hand targets but avoid the Patrick Starfish targets! Get 25 before the time limit to earn a doubloon.

Gold Doubloon #7: Glove World Entrance – After completing the level, return and talk to Glovey near the entrance. He’ll mark activities around the park to complete. One of the new activities is a harder version of Whack-A-Glove. Hit 30 balloons in a minute to earn a doubloon.

Gold Doubloon #8: Central Plaza – The second activity is the Strong Glove mini-game. Go talk to the fish and complete this trickier challenge. Compared to the previous challenge, this one is easy.

  • Return to Glovey after finishing these two challenges to earn the Rainbow Sponge costume!
