Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade just dropped on Steam recently. PC players get certain privileges the rest of us don’t — namely, all the DLC and pre-order items are unlocked automatically. That includes some of the best gear in the game, which can make your visit to Midgard so much smoother. There are some seriously tough challenges in FF7R and if you jump straight into Yuffie’s Intergrade Chapter, you may have a hard time overcoming the challenges. To make life easier, unlock the incredible gear and powerful Summons with this simple method.

Yuffie’s Chapter can be started at any time from the Chapter Select menu. You don’t need to unlock — the Yuffie chapter is totally separate from the main game.

To gain the Cactuar Summon and many other powerful bonus items, you need to complete the tutorials and gain access to the Inventory Menu. Then you can unlock your bonus items. These items were previously exclusive to pre-order / special edition buyers but are available to all PC platform owners — console players can access these items as a free DLC download.

  • How To Get Bonus Items:
  • Open [Inventory] -> Select [System] -> Open [Gift Box]

You’ll get all of the bonus items added to your inventory. Many of these items are incredibly useful and make the game much, much easier. You can ignore them if you want a fair challenge or can give yourself a big buff by equipping the Seraphic Earrings. They’re ridiculously powerful. Here’s a quick list of everything you’ll unlock.

  • Cactuar Summon – Powerful attack summon.
  • Chocobo Chick Summon – Casts elemental spells summon.
  • Carbuncle Summon – Buff and healing summon.
  • Midgar Bangle – +18 Defense, +18 Magic Defense
  • Shinra Bangle – +20 Defense, +20 Magic Defense
  • Corneo Armlet – +22 Defense, +22 Magic Defense
  • Superstar Belt – Avoid death once per battle.
  • Mako Crystal – Lowers all elemental damage by -5%.
  • Seraphic Earrings – Start battle with “Life” buff. Auto-revive.

The Seraphic Earrings are especially good, and the Cactuar Summon is incredibly powerful, able to deal 1,000 damage with its special attack. Can’t beat a boss? These free items might help.
